An apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to work in a supportive environment while making a step into an exciting career. You’ll get on-the-job experience, mentoring and support which will allow you to prepare for a long-term career alongside your off-the-job training commitments.
Typically, 80% of your time will be spent on-the-job where you will develop practical skills as well as technical knowledge in the workplace. You’ll be supported by a mentor and on-the-job training.
For 20% of your time, you will receive off-the-job training on a relevant course. You will work towards a recognised qualification at Intermediate, Advanced, Higher or Degree level and be supported by a tutor.
