Role: Client Account Manager
I am from Harrogate. I went to high school in Harrogate and got my GCSEs & A-Levels. Since then, I have been at Redcentric, initially starting in the billing team and working my way into the Account Management function. My hobbies include sport mainly football and cooking.
Kieran Brady introduced me to the apprenticeship, Redcentric was my first full time job and it has given me a foothold to develop.
I have been in the industry a little while but this apprenticeship will really help me to articulate technical proposals better and help me to sell more successfully.
It will help me to develop my technical skills which will help when having sales conversations with customers and make me a more rounded Account Manager.
It never stops, I enjoy the drive of having to achieve day in day out and the fact that technology never stands still which means that you always have something new to learn & talk about.
I want to continue to develop into a more senior account manager and be trusted with larger accounts.
All work is done within work hours so it doesn’t affect my home-life or any personal life commitments. Redcentric have been really supportive with time to study.
Go for it! It’s a really good opportunity to develop a career in IT sales. As far as getting into the industry, this is as good an opportunity as you could wish for.
