The Big Goal – Supporting young people through football
Redcentric is proud to support The Big Goal, a national initiative that brings UK technology businesses together to tackle youth homelessness using the power of football.
Delivered by the award-winning Street Soccer Foundation, The Big Goal funds free Street Soccer Academy programmes for young people aged 18–30 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or not currently in education, employment or training.
Through our Gold membership, Redcentric sponsors a local programme focused on communities close to our business. The 12-week programme combines football coaching with confidence building, employability skills and pastoral support, helping young people move towards education, training or sustainable employment.
This partnership is a strong example of social value in action. By working alongside other organisations in our industry, we are supporting a model that delivers measurable outcomes for young people while creating positive, lasting impact in local communities.
As part of our involvement, Redcentric colleagues also have opportunities to engage through volunteering, mentoring and participation in The Big Goal National 5-a-side Football Tournament, the UK’s largest corporate five-a-side competition with a social purpose at its heart.
We look forward to sharing updates on our involvement and the impact of this partnership over the coming year.
